Ultimate Agadir Desert Escape: Full-Day Dunes & Lunch

THE day trip was fantastic! We experienced different sites/scenes/cultures in one day. Our guide Simba was professional, knowledgeable and kept us entertained from start to finish😎. The Sand Scorpion cured me of my phobia! All in all a well spent day.

Smooth, laid back tour of the area to the south of Agadir: Coast - beautiful rugged scenery, volcanic rock formations, wild waves and intrepid fishermen Tiznit - magnificent Casbah, silversmiths Camels - rides available, scorpions Berber lunch - delicious and filling, spectacular setting Tachfine dam - drive up above the dam and reservoir, Atlas mountain view Herbal shop - no pressure shop to pick your elixirs Driving was fun over the sands, smooth on the roads. Our driver was very patient and respectful. All good😊

Desert was brilliant, views of sea at cliff edge was amazing. Driver was knowledgeable, and food was hot and tasty. Only problem was the vehicle, 4x4, but 7 seater and we were at the back, not much room for legs, getting in and out was a problem, but overall nice trip.

Our tour guide Hammid was lovely, friendly and welcoming. And would also stop of there was other things of interest not just what was on the tour itinerary, like seeing a group of wild camels, you just cant not stop for a photo of that. Coming from England, everything we saw was an amazing experience, from wild flamingos, cave houses on the beach, sand dunes, silversmiths, the dam, snake charming, traditional tagine and desert driving. Our group consisted of 3 different languages, but there is always the universal language of signing and photos.

Great tour, lovely to see the Moroccan countryside and mountains and experience a meal at Berber home. Felt the stops could have been shorter though and also it’s not really a desert off roading experience, as there’s no real big dunes and not much sand. Our guide was great very friendly and informative.

Very poor comms pre-trip - no response to request to confirm pick up time the day before, and failed to show on the morning. Several phone calls later and an admission that they’d messed up and eventually got a driver to us (albeit after nearly an hour and a half waiting outside hotel). I doubt this experience is the norm - just not our day. Thereafter, however, a very good trip with some great sightseeing and a very good traditional lunch. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Seen a lot of beautiful places and the real life in the country side! Delicious food and people were always happy to welcoming you!

What a memorable day, loved the trip and everything we were shown and taught. The camels and Berber headress was amazing as were the Nomads and our guide Mohammed. Thank you for a very special day whilst here in Morocco. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed. Xx
